One one side of the temple (see previous day entry), there is a diorama of considerable length. Try as I did, I could not get my iPhone to record the entire panel in one go. It kept shutting off. This was the best I could get.
This temple was very close to the main entrance. Just to the left over the fence, there was an active temple. Most of the temples were in remarkably good condition. All were sacred so shoes had to be removed prior to entry. I am not a big fan of walking barefoot. But, here, to wear…
Most of the Erotica at the temple I saw included multiple players. It leads me to believe either the holy books of the time were quite graphic or the artists depicted their own fantasies.
The large figures are supposed to be gods. Who, I wonder, are the little people? Are they minor deities or did the gods like a little human action on the side?
