The Beach @ Tony’s Restaurant

The only restaurant safe for me to eat in was a Philippino fast food place where every meal was served with rice. It was explained ot me that a meal is not a meal in the Philippines unless there is rice. I do enjoy Philippino food but after almost a week, I was eager to eat something different.

On the very last day in Abuyoug, Cousin remembered there was an Italian restaurant at the North end owned and operated by an Italian named Tony. We had lunch there, stayed to swim, watch the fisherman bring in their nets, then had dinner. I was so happy to have a meal with pasta instead of rice and spices other than salt and pepper.

This is a view of the beach from Tony’s place. If we ever get back to Abuyog, we will stay in the resort at Tony’s place.
