Straight as an Arrow

In the days before autofocus cameras, catching a shot of a flying bird was more instinctual having to set up speed, aperture and choosing a focal distance that would balance depth of field with background bokeh, one that would require little to no refocusing when the subject came into focus. The speedy autofocus in today’s modern camera takes much of the guesswork away enabling me to capture the image of this flying seagull.
