This is the Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de México (Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral) one of countless churches in Mexico City and the biggest in Latin America. It took nearly 300 years to build this amazing homage to Jesús and the Virgin madre María. It contains 14 chapels, and the two massive 18th century organs.
By contrast, it took me about 1/2 an hour at sunrise to take the group of pictures with varying exposures making up this composite and a couple of hours more to arrange them in a way I found pleasing.
This is one of those works of art I could have spent the whole day exploring.
