The only place of added color at the entire ruins was this aqua colored door frame. There was color in the flowers, color in the birds, color in the sky. The ruins were natural stone, earth colored, no paint, no adornment. This aqua frame seemed out of place, so out of place, it intrigued me, got me to wondering why. Why add color? Why add it here? Why choose aqua? Why? Why doesn’t matter. This was a spot of art. Art doesn’t need a why. Art just needs to be.
