Monochrome Monday: Pouring Mint Tea

Pouring Mint Tea

Pouring Mint Tea

Mint tea is a ritual drink in Morocco that is more common than coffee. The proper way to pour is to start low (for beginners like me) then raise the pot high and let the concoction of green tea infused with copious amounts of mint and sugar fall through the air and into the waiting cup.  I drank this brew constantly for a few days until I found I was having a difficult time tolerating the sweetness. This is odd because, for decades, I drank more sweetened soda than any other beverage on the planet.
