I finally made it out early in the morning on a sunny Saturday for a bike ride. This makes for a more pleasant ride in the cooler temperatures and the significantly lighter crowds on the lake front trail. I took a break at the Chess pavilion, a shaded shelter where chess masters and chess wannabees meet to match wits.
For me, the tiny pavilion is a respite from the sun, a place to admire my city from the North, a relaxing site to pull out my camera and shoot pics of the people funneled into a bend as they enjoy a Saturday in the Park.
This rider in red adds a nice splash of color to the scene.
