Back in the day, a man and his horse defined the American West. In the city, horses have been replaced by cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. Chicago has a teeming bike population that includes this gentleman and his bike. Both are vintage models. Both are still serviceable.
I never saw him actually mount his steed just walked it around the plaza looking at wares being touted by the various tents celebrating bike week in Chicago. Seeing him with his white hair and steed are perhaps a foresight of my future. I hope I can still ride when I am his age.
