I have eaten hotdogs all over the US. By far, my favorite is the Chicago Style Hot Dog with all the trimmings, onions, relish, mustard, catsup, hot peppers, except salt. I never add salt to any of my food. A few months ago, I tried a New York Style Hot Dog from a New York street vendor and was highly disappointed by the stunning lack of flavor. When on my Chicago Lake Front bike rides I sometimes stop at the Hot Dog stand just North of the Adler Planetarium for a mid-ride snack and a very cold blue Gatorade. It’s the only time I ever deviate from Lemon Lime. I started on the blue because on one ride the stand was out of lemon lime. Now, blue has become a habit.
