Ankor Wat From The Back

Ankor Wat from the Back

For our second trip to Ankor Wat temple, our guide, Tom, suggested we enter from the rear and meet him in the front. It was a great suggestion. We were able to walk under rows of trees to shield us form the intensity of the sun’s rays. However, we couldn’t avoid the humidity so we felt like we were swimming up to the temple. The amount of water soaked into my shirt looked like I just emerged from a pool. We were able to view the iconic towers without the throngs spilling into the photos.
