I have long enjoyed photography. The digital revolution has opened doors to the artist that were not readily available when I first started taking pictures. Editing tools enable one to easily manipulate an image to create a unique rendition of a possibly sub optimal image. The original flower picture was bland and not quite sharp. In Photoshop, I used a 3rd party tool and applied a filter named Georgia O’Keeffe (one of my all time favorite painters) as my starting point then further adjusted with the result being this image. My reason for creating is that the end result is pleasing to my eye. I find this to be much more pleasing to my eye than the original.
