At the top of this picture should be the iconic Navy Pier Ferris Wheel. The fog rolling in obscures all but a faint outline of the beach. The fog was thin so I didn’t notice it while riding. I did not have to navigate limited visibility while pumping my legs on the angled concrete of this stretch. Thankfully, this fog/mist did not stretch onto the streets West of the lake. I have about 5 miles of street riding to get home from this point and would have had to setup camp some place so I wouldn’t be in the path of drivers with obscured vision. It’s challenge enough riding home in bright light with cars whizzing by sometimes violating the three foot distance rule they are supposed to maintain by law.
