They may not have been eagles but they were definitely raptors, birds of prey. How glorious it would be if we could soar on our own power over the landscape. How more glorious to cut thru the air while watching the sun set on yonder horizon and being able to view it from almost infinite angles.
I caught this sunset on my most recent trip to Pune, India. For the most part the skies were overcast as it was the tail end of the monsoons. And most nights I was in the office until way past sunset. This was the only evening I was able to sit up on the roof of the hotel and bask in the majesty of the closing day.
