Getting to the farm required a river crossing. There was no bridge so we crossed on a ferry. It puttered over to our side. The driver threw down a ramp on which the MotorPot rode up. We all climbed in afterward. The round trip price was 60 Philippine pesos or about $1.32 US.
The surroundings were idyllic. Water Buffalo, Kararbaw in the local dialect, waded near the shores. The river crawled by at a snails pace. Kids, butt naked, jumped gleefully into the river from a high bank. The sky was a beautifully decorated with clouds.
One wouldn’t be remiss calling this paradise.
