White Purples

There were many flowers in bloom at Zion National Park. It was the first time I had been to a desert area in flowering season. Our trip to Death Valley a few days earlier was after flower season. That is a different desert (the Mohave), a drier, hotter desert with significantly less vegetation than desert (Great Basin) in which Zion resides.

This flower was not as numerous as the others in the area. They did, however, tend to grow in some nice clusters.
