I had been to Zion NP once many years ago on a drive through but had no recollection of actually seeing the park. On this trip, the now wife and I spent a solid 16 hours viewing the natural glory. It wasn’t enough time to fully drink in the beauty but it did temporarily satiate the thirst we had been feeling since leaving Death Valley.
We had just returned from a hike to a waterfall where frogs bellowed a lovely chorus, and ode to the life giving waters. We couldn’t stay at the waterfall for long because we had to catch the last bus out of the canyon or, if we missed the bus, take a long walk back to our car. These walls were lit up by the setting sun as we crossed the footbridge taking us out of the canyon.
