Chicago is a bike friendly city boasting many streets with bicycle lanes. These lanes are used extensively by the residents of the great city especially when the weather is above freezing. There are also hearty souls (I say crazy) that ride the streets in the coldest cold and the wettest rain. I avoid the rain and prefer temps above freezing before saddling up. This picture was in the heart of the city, a heavy traffic area. I was envious of the many riders I saw during the hour I was out taking pictures. I went home later that evening to prep my bike for a ride the next day only to find it had a flat and I lacked the necessary tools to make it rideable.
