This is one of the fake Sadhu’s (priests) that hang around in Durbar Square. They trade pictures for money and are quite pushy in their quest which gives a tarnished reputation to the real Sadhu priests. I refused to play their game so took surreptitious pictures from far away using a long lens. The deception they pose jaded me toward real Sadhu’s I saw at another location where I declined a red tilak on my forehead because it seemed they were only after money. It was only after reflection that I realized the folly of my ways in refusing the crimson mark on my forehead.
