Gyaling Player

Accompanying the singers and the drummer were two monks playing the gyaling. It is a horn instrument associated with peaceful deities. The horns were played at irregular intervals in between which they were placed on the table in front of the monks. The horns sang with a haunting voice that seemed to resonate within the space between my ears almost inducing a trance like meditative state.
