Silent Orange

Silent Orange

This man stood in Kathmandu Durbar Square barely moving, rarely speaking. Pretty much his only movements came when someone dropped an offering into his silver bowl. What I liked about his style is that he did not hound people and beg. He simply stood still and waited and waited and waited. It had to take quite a bit of strength to hold that bowl away from his body. He was standing in place when I entered the square and was still standing in the same place when I left an hour later.
