Alpha or Omega?

Chairs on a Beach

Chairs on a Beach

There are times when I see these chairs as waiting for a loving couple to come walking barefoot in the cool morning sand to sit together and watch the sunrise. At other times, I see these chairs as lonely, as longing for a couple that has long since walked into the sunset. At any given moment they are the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. Perhaps they are both and every moment in between. No matter the perspective, their story haunts me.

  1. This is bizarre. I was talking with some friends yesterday about the young being alpha and elderly being omega. Wow! We are on the same wavelength.
