Fasnacht #01

I went to Switzerland in 2007 to provide Scrum training for my Swiss colleagues. My partner Mike and I arrived from the US in the late afternoon and were quite tired. The director of Software development called us up and told us we were going to Lucerne for the Fasnacht parade. It was the craziest parade I’ve ever attended. Groups of people wore elaborately constructed, themed masks as they marched through the town playing their instruments. The night seemed surreal especially as our hosts bought us copious amounts of alcohol as we walked the streets of the city admiring the decorations.
