Part of international travel is adapting to cultural norms which is simply being respectful to the locals. It’s sort of like Isaac Asimov’s first rule of robotics which can be boiled down to “do no harm.” We were entering an active Mosque as compared to a Mosque turned into a museum. Upon the entry, she was asked to wear the head covering. We were also directed to enter the Mosque via the nonbelievers entrance.
